Chris Korich, World Casting Champion and U.S. Team Coach, along with volunteer instructors from famous Bay Area angling & casting clubs, are helping prepare local kids (ages 9-12) for future fly fishing opportunities.
FUN fly casting and knot tying sessions will cover the following foundational skills.
Proper Grip & Stance Alignment
Roll Casting & Short Aerial Casts
Line Extending & Retrieving
How To Land Fish & Release
Basic Knot Tying & Home Practice
Tackle Care & Repair
This youth-oriented instruction is focused on teaching FUN-damental skills, drills and casting games, so youngsters can learn to master shorter casts, tie basic knots, and fish with more experienced anglers or guides!
